The
Taste of Dublin, an annual event held usually in May, was a
huge success! This was our first year participating and we
made over 700 cupcakes to be enjoyed! Needless to say, we
didn't come home with much! We look forward to
participating again in 2008, so look for us there.
Congratulations to Panera Bread for celebrating 10 years in
Columbus! We were so excited to be a part of your big day.
Each of Panera's 21 stores in the Columbus area enjoyed one
of Bess' Cakery cupcake cakes designed with the Panera logo
(Mother Bread). We wish you many more years in the area!
The
Northwest Superstars of Columbus, celebrated their 20-year
anniversary in Columbus in June. They danced the night away
and enjoyed specialty made cakes from Bess' Cakery with each
child's name placed on their own star! The Northwest
Superstars is the group that supports the Special Olympics
in the Northwestern part of Columbus.

In October 2007, Bess' Cakery was pleased to be a part
of an event called Cupcakes for a Cause. It is an event
sponsored by CancerCare for Kids, and 50% of all cupcake
sales for the week went to the charity. We were so
excited to send our donation of over $500 and we are
looking forward to participating again in 2008.
